Mahoning Township Police said more than 1,000 feet of copper wire was stolen from a firm in the township on Wednesday.

Audie Mertz, officer in charge of the department, said the theft happened at Moyer Well Drilling on Gilberts Hill Road.Anyone with information is asked to contact Mahoning Township Police at 570-386-2241.
