A two-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Friday in front of the TIMES NEWS building on Route 443 in Mahoning Township.

Three people were freed from the vehicles.One man was airlifted to a Lehigh Valley hospital.Two other patients were taken to Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest by ambulance.Emergency crews on scene includied Mahoning police; Lehighton, Palmerton and Mahoning ambulances; and Nesquehoning, Lehighton and Mahoning Valley fire crews.Traffic began moving again on the highway after about an hour.Police are investigating. No further details are available at this time.
