Schuylkill crashes

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes probed by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways.

A crash occurred about 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the intersection of SR901 and an unnamed road in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Brian R. Wagner, 40, of Shamokin, was stopped in the eastbound lane in a 2008 Oldsmobile Sienna waiting for a vehicle in front of him to turn left. Allison M. Knopf, 23, of Auburn, driving a 1999 Volkswagen Passat approached from behind and was unable to stop with the front of her car hitting the rear of the Sienna.No one was injured. Troopers cited Knopf for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.A crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, along SR443 (Market Street), in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Courtney A. Graham, 17, of Hamburg, was eastbound and attempting a left turn onto SR61 when her 2007 Hyundai Elantra was hit by a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer operated by Christopher Gibas, 41, of Pottsville.No one was injured. Troopers cited Graham for vehicle turning left.
