Municipal building closed for holidayPenn Forest Township Municipal Building will be closed in observance of Columbus Day on Monday, Oct. 14. The building will also be closed for Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5.The municipal building office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1-4 p.m. The building is also open the first Saturday of the month from 9-11:30 a.m.Transfer Station hours are Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Transfer Station will be open on Columbus Day.For more information visit the township website at
