The fire caused extensive damages to the plaintiff's real property as well as imposition of additional expenses and hardships, it is alleged.Sought are damages in excess of $50,000 plus delay damages, costs and fees.Suit over autoGary and Adam Snyder, of 1105 Wellington Circle, Laurys Station, Lehigh County, has filed a civil complaint against Joe McConnell, trading as Golden Road Street Rods, of 128 Main St., Parryville.The suit states in September 2010 the defendant responded to an advertisement placed by the plaintiffs on the barter section fo Craig's List in which the plaintiffs offered to pay a full consideration, consisting of an engine and tool box valued in exchange for certain auto body work and mechanical work to be performed on their 1965 Mustang automobile.The agreed upon value between the plaintiffs and defendant of the engine and tool box was $3,900 although the actual value of the tool box alone was $6,919.53, the suit claims.The plaintiffs gave the defendant the engine and tool box. Additionally the plaintiffs also provided the defendant a number of parts necessary for the agreed upon work to be performed by the defendant.The suit further alleges despite attempts to get the work done, the defendant has not completed the work and has sought a further payment for work done and to be done.Breach of contract is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages of $7,573.87 plus interest and costs.
