Four ponies that escaped from their pens Monday morning at the intersection of Route 248 and Municipal Road have been returned to their owner unharmed.

The ponies got loose from their pens at around 7:15 a.m. according to Lehigh Township Police.Police then went out to the scene, where they banded the ponies together away from the roadway, and found a nearby pen to keep them sheltered until their owner was located.
