State police at the Lehighton barracks said they placed William Marsh of Freeland under arrest at 7:05 a.m. Sept. 26 after he was stopped for speeding on SR248 in Bowmanstown, after which time police said they learned he had been identified by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as a habitual offender.
Police said the investigation showed Marsh was driving with a suspended driver's license. Police later learned he had been labeled as a habitual offender because of 21 previous convictions for driving with a suspended license.
