Tomorrow, from 6-9 p.m., the Southward Playground will be hosting the 2nd Annual Tamaqua Blue Raiders Community Pep Rally.

Organizers anticipate over 500 people in attendance this year. There will be giveaways, DJ Steven Kunkle, entertainment by the Dakota Mcgeehan Band, glow products for the first 100 children and a concession stand.The Tamaqua Blue Raider football team, as well as Tamaqua cheerleaders of all ages, will be in attendance.The free event is open to all ages. The playground is located at the corner of Oak and Penn streets in Tamaqua.
