Bradley Leo Merwine, 33, Tremont, had his parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and his 199 days of liberty were disallowed which extended his maximum date for release from prison to April 17, 2014. However, he received credit for spending 35 days in prison and is eligible for the pre-release program. Merwine pleaded guilty to giving false information to police about a car stolen which didn't occur and was placed on probation.Bench warrantsGeorge Patrick Mitchell. 31, Girardville, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge James P Goodman and bail reinstated with stipulation he must reside at 367 Preston Avenue, Girardville, and any change of address must be reported to the Clerk of Courts Office and Public Defender's Office. He must also pay a $50 fee to the district attorney for the bench warrant. Mitchell faces prosecution on a charge of possession of a controlled substance brought by Butler Township Chief Edward Tarentelli.Robert Clair Miller, 36, Tower City, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Charles M. Miiller and was remanded to the county prison to serve a sentence of two weeks to 23 months on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and failing to have a driver's license. He was cited by Trooper Jeffrey Hummel when stopped on Sweet Arrow Lake Road in Pine Grove Township.Charles Sincavage, 49, Mahanoy City, had his bench warrant dissolved and bail reinstated by Judge Miller with special conditions: he must reside at 313 W.
