A Carbon County driver was involved in causing a crash in Lehigh County involving a motorcycle, for which she was cited.

State police at Fogelsville said Bonnie L. George, 60, of Palmerton, was attempting to turn onto Church Lane, in Lower Macungie Township, about 9:04 a.m. on Sept. 12 and pulled into the path of a 2012 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic driven westbound by Darin S. Paller, 43, of Macungie. Paller attempted to avoid a collision with George's 2011 Chevrolet and laid his bike down on the right side. The bike slid along the road and missed striking the Chevrolet. Paller was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment of injuries.Troopers said George was cited for a stop sign violation.
