The Pottsville Senior Community Center will hold a Halloween-themed benefit dance on Oct. 18.

The dance will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the center, 201 N. Centre St. Entertainment will be provided by Ed Zelonis, "the Dancing DJ," with participants encouraged to attend in costume.Proceeds from the event will benefit programs offered by the center to area older adults. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.The center is a program of Diakon Community Services for Seniors under contract with the Schuylkill County Office of Senior Services.
