The Gathering

The Gathering will celebrate its 10th annual event at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Trout Run Covered Bridge, Seventh Street, Slatington.There will be food, beverages, and crafts all day; hay wagon rides; entertainment; Bier Garten; and a fireworks "Grand Finale."Parking is available at the Bob Labold Maintenance Building, along West Church Street.Proceeds benefit the Slatington, Washington Township "Slate Heritage Trail."For more information, contact the Northern Lehigh Historical Society at
