A West Virginia woman and five children were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 25, along SR924 (Ringtown Blvd.) about 5:40 a.m. in West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Janet L. Follick, 46, of Kearnysville, was operating a 2007 Honda Odyssey northbound when the vehicle left the road on the east side and hit a concrete curb. After impact the vehicle continued northeast over the curb and struck several trees with the front end. The Honda then went down a slight embankment where it came to rest against a tree.Follick and her passengers, a female age 3, and four males, ages 4, 9, 11, and one under the age of 1, were all taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for treatment of injuries.Troopers cited Follick for careless driving.
