The Ministers' Association of Tamaqua at its meeting, Sept. 22nd, took the following action in regard to Sabbath Observance.

As a Christian nation, a Christian community and Christian individually we acknowledge over ourselves the authority of the 'law of God.' His laws are for our guidance, our good, our happiness and our prosperity. "In keeping there is great reward."Transgressions of God's law do not pass unnoticed, no matter how popular and how common such transgressions may be. God says "Through hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished." "The soul that sinneth, it shall die." "Sin is the transgression of the law."One of God's laws clearly stated is "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy."
