Veterans to behonored on Oct. 5

Jim Thorpe Little League will be honoring the area's veterans on Saturday, Oct. 5 at McGarvey's Field during a double-header of fall baseball. All veterans are welcome to attend and will receive a free hot dog and drink. The ceremony will start at 6 p.m. with the unveiling of a new sign that honors veterans, the ceremonial first pitch and photos with the baseball players.
