Concert held on the lawn

Friends and neighbors came together to celebrate faith and community recently along a section of SR309 in West Penn Township over the weekend.

The event, free and open to the public, encouraged anyone to simply stop by and enjoy time with your fellow man or woman.Hosting the community event were the Bleam family of the block of 1200 block of West Penn Pike."You don't see this type of thing anymore," said guest Mike Heffelfinger of Hometown. "This is how people treated each other way back when."This is the tenth year the Bleam family has the event on their property and in their home. Rain didn't stop the festivities, as guests were encouraged to go inside for an array of free food and drinks.
