Slatington police reported the arrest of a North Carolina driver for driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident on Sunday, Sept. 15, about 2:41 a.m.

Borough police responded to the area of Main Street for a report of a reckless driving incident.As a result of an investigation Paul Vonronne, 40, of Aberdeen, was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, and careless driving.
