Daquan Johnson, 21, of 7067 Susquehanna Drive, Tobyhanna, faces charges from an incident which took place on July 16 at 342 W. Snyder Avenue, Lansford.

He is charged with two counts of simple assault and harassment.According to an affidavit of probable cause, at about 1:30 p.m. officer Brian Horos was dispatched to the scene of an assault at 342 W. Snyder Avenue. There he was met by an extremely upset woman, who said she had had Johnson stay with her for the weekend. He had come back to her house, wanting his "stuff" back.The two argued, and Johnson allegedly grabbed her keys and started hitting her in the face and head.Johnson had fled before Horos arrived. The victim said Johnson had two handguns with him.Horos contacted the Carbon County Communications Center and had an attempt-to-locate broadcast for Johnson.Horos noted the victim showed him the inside of her lower lip, which was cut and bleeding, and reddened areas on her face.Horos spoke with her again the next day and she told him she had to have new locks installed on her house as Johnson had taken her keys. She requested restitution of $225.
