Two Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.
Jimmy O's Sports Bar, 101 S. Line St., Frackville, West Mahanoy Township, was cited for used, or permitted to be used on the inside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device whereby the sound of music or other entertainment, or the advertisement thereof, could be heard beyond the licensee's property line.The Pine Grove Diner Inc., 490 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove Township, was cited for failure to have the board approved manager complete RAMP training within 180 days of the board's approval of the appointment.These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge.
