Parents, family and friends of the students who participate in the Lehigh Carbon Community College SHINE after-school program are invited to a "book signing" event to showcase the children's recently published book, "Antelope to Zebra and Everything in Between."

SHINE, which stands for Schools and Homes in Education, provides academic support for children in pre-kindergarten through third grades who need a jump start in reading and math. SHINE uses multi-learning strategies and nontraditional hands-on education.
