A domestic incident has led to the arrest of a Monroe County man.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Sept. 5 about 9:46 p.m. they were dispatched to the Domino's Pizza shop along SR196 in Mount Pocono, for a report of a woman who had entered the business with numerous injuries.On scene officers made contact with Cathy Codere. Officers observed Codere to have injuries to her face, chest, arms and back. She told officers that her boyfriend, Edward Clark, had assaulted her at their residence at 10 Candlewood Court in Mount Pocono.Police went to that address and found Clark. He was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment. Police also learned that Clark had an active warrant of his arrest issued to the county's sheriff's department.Clark was placed in the county prison in Snydersville. Codere was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of her injuries.
