Paul Canevari, regional affairs director for PPL Corporation, presents a check totaling $2,000 to Elissa M. Garofalo, representing Carbon County Partners for Progress. The money is being re-gifted to the Leadership Carbon program, Garofalo, said. She said 16 individuals signed-up for this year's Leadership Carbon program, which is under the Carbon County Chamber and Economic Development for the first time. Canevari said, "PPL is pleased to be involved with both Partners for Progress as well as Leadership Carbon," stressing such donations are for improving the local community.
