Dear Editor:

I've just read the EXCELLENT letter from Mr. Gangwer, Weatherly! TIMES NEWS, Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013.I must comment you for printing it, and compliment Mr. Gangwer on the writing of it.Finally! Someone with true Patriotic steadfastness, nerve and wisdom to speak the truth about what is needed for our dear nation.I might only add that all our Christian/Jewish leaders need to open their eyes and hearts and minds to come together for the sake of the United States of America, as we once knew it.The only other thing, I would add, is that we have become a nation of wimps, afraid to tell it like it is! What is is, is not a "terrorist threat" or "terror attack," or whatever other politically correct name they may call it ... We, the United States of America have been attacked, at the 9/11 twin towers. Benghazi, USS Cole, and so many other attacks that have not been properly called. Even now, our Western states have been set afire, and are burning many, many homes, and grand forests, not really "natural fire" but hinted at as being "attacks by enemy remote controlled robot machines (model airplanes, etc.) and not told by the government or our so-called "news media"...Well, I don't want to go on and on, I just wanted to tell Mr. Gangwer that he has truly told it like it is.We need to come back to God.Thank you Sir, and keep up the good writing.Ruthann Schlect,Lehighton
