A Drums man will be cited by McAdoo Police following a traffic stop on Aug. 3.

Tyler Nelmes of 252 E. County Road was operating a white Dodge Dakota pick up truck, traveling south on Kennedy Drive at 9:10 p.m., when he came to the attention of the an officer on patrol. The truck's license plate lights were not working and Nelmes failed to use a turn signal.The officer initiated a traffic stop and detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Nelmes. There was also an open can of beer in the back seat as well as a full case of beer on the floor.After several field sobriety tests, Nelmes will be cited for driving under the influence (DUI).
