August 29, 2003 Marian's Vito Digilio returns the opening kickoff of the season 87 yards for a touchdown and the Colts cruise to a 42-12 victory over Pocono Mountain West. Digilio adds 113 yards rushing on just six carries. T.J. Lawrence throws for 105 yards and two scores and also adds a 12-yard touchdown run. Both of Lawrence's TD passes are caught by Steve Nesgoda. The winners, coached by Stan Dakosty, also receive scoring runs from Mike Tracy and Jordan Bynon.
