Kristiann Gallagher, 43, of McAdoo, is facing charges in connection to a traffic stop on Claremont Avenue, Hometown, on Aug. 2.

Rush Township police said Gallagher was driving along the road at 11:35 p.m. when she was stopped for traffic violations. Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and transported her to St. Luke's Miner's Hospital, Coaldale, for blood tests.Test results indicated the presence of marijuana in Gallagher's blood. She will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic citations.
