Reminder to drive safe during holiday

State Police Troop N, Hazleton, reminds motorists to drive safely during the upcoming Labor Day Holiday weekend. Drivers are also asked to obey the state's Steer Clear Law, which requires drivers to move over or slow down when they encounter an emergency response area.

Troopers will be out patrolling and watching for drunken drivers, speeders and other aggressive motorists during the official four-day Labor Day driving period, which runs from Friday Aug. 30, through Monday Sept 2.If you will be travelling during the holiday period, allow yourself plenty of time to get to your destination safely. Also remind everyone in your vehicle to buckle up and most importantly do not drink and drive.
