A Tamaqua man is facing charges following an incident that occurred in Walker Township.

State police at Frackville said troopers were called to Koch's Turkey Farm, 416 Valley Road, about 11:04 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 for a report of a man appearing to be under the influence.On scene troopers found Buddy C. Noel, 34, suspected to be under the influence of a controlled substance to a degree that he may have been a danger to himself and others.He was placed under arrest and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson Street, Pottsville, for treatment.Troopers charged him with public drunkenness.
