August 23, 1999 Jake Stefani nearly shoots par in leading Pleasant Valley to a 14 1/2-9 1/2 Mountain Valley Conference win over Nazareth. Stefani fires a 73 at the par-72 Indian Mountain Course to pace the Bears. Stefani's effort earns a 3-0 individual win over his opponent. Other PV golfers to gain 3-0 decisions include Josh Tannenbaum and Curtis Stevens. Also posting wins for the Bears were Dave Bruno and Dan Phorsson.
