A traffic stop has led to the arrest of the driver on a drug charge.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Marcus Davis, 29, of Bloomfield, N.J., was stopped about 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 10 along SR940 at SR314, Tobyhanna Township, for a turning violation.As officers spoke to Davis they detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A further investigation revealed Davis was in possession of a small amount of marijuana which he had hidden under a cup holder in the vehicle.He was placed under arrest and charged with possession, police said.
