A Monroe County man is facing burglary and related counts following an incident that occurred on Monday, Aug. 19.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to Brunswick Drive, Mount Pocono, for a report of a suspect trespassing on property in that area. The suspect was apprehended and identified as Daniel C. Skibber, 39, of Stroudsburg.It was later determined that Skibber had committed a burglary at another residence along Brunswick Drive. He was also under the influence of methamphetamines and in possession of the drug, police said.Skibber was placed under arrest and charged with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He also has a drug charge pending.
