Summit Hill Historical Society

The Summit Hill Historical Society will meet tonight, Aug 21, at 7 p.m. at the museum on West Ludlow Street. Plans for future improvements to Ludlow Park for the 100th anniversary in 2014 will be discussed. Meetings are open to the public.St. John LutheranTonight at 7 p.m., St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship. This will be a spiritual, peaceful, evening service with Holy Communion.All are welcome to this relaxed, brief, musical, evening prayer. All participated in the activities that were scheduled.The next meeting will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall beginning at 1 p.m.Members who celebrated birthday's from May through August will be recognized.Anyone 55 and older is encouraged to join.
