Folk music, workshops, a museum grand opening and perfect summer weather combined to make Summit Hill's inaugural Hootenanny in Ludlow Park a success.

The hilltop community resounded with old-fashioned music celebrating Americana and the rich musical history that is rooted in the heritage of our country."You can say this was a success because we ran out of food and people still stayed around and didn't leave," said Lansford-Summit Hill Community Partnership's project manager Sara Ruch.
