Sharbaugh goes the distance, walking one and striking out two, but loses his shutout bid in the ninth inning. Glenn Warner collects a pair of triples, knocks in two runs and also scores a pair. Billy Kunkle adds three hits, one an RBI double. The winners also receive two hits from both Jack Finney and Bob Fisher.
