A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 10:36 p.m. on Aug. 3.

State police at Fogelsville said Vincent Michael Atkinson, 36, of Ashfield Road in Slatington, was stopped for a traffic violation along Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.
