Charges will be filed in connection with a two-vehicle accident in Rush Township on Thursday.

According to the police report, Joseph Nemeth Jr., 43, of Slatington, was traveling south on Marian Avenue, in a 1996 Subaru, when he failed to stop for a stop sign. The Subaru struck a 2006 Hyundai, operated by Kay German, 48, of Berwick.German was transported to St. Luke's Miners Hospital in Coaldale.Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and Nemeth will be charged in the incident.
