Volunteer firefighter EJ Yescavage works late into the night preparing his fire company's trucks for next week's 59th Annual Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters' Association Convention in Mahanoy City. Yescavage, along with fellow firefighters from Tamaqua's East End Fire Company, have spent many late nights upgrading their truck. Some recent improvements consist of new cabinet LED lights, corner side mirror, labeling, AED, driving camera and cab lights. The convention parade is scheduled for next Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
