Police in Monroe County are continuing an ongoing investigation of the death of a man who was found at 10:47 a.m. Aug. 6.

Police have identified the deceased as Brandon Fraser, 20, of Long Pond.Pocono Mountain Regional Police reported they were called to the parking area at the intersection of Gapview Drive and Bus Lane in the Emerald Lakes development, Tobyhanna Township, for a report of an unresponsive male in the back seat of a vehicle. It was reported the windows of the vehicle were "blown out" as well.When investigators arrived at the scene, the found Fraser deceased in the back seat of the vehicle. Police said he apparently sustained severe trauma to his head. The rear window of the vehicle was shattered.Police said investigators are continuing to process the scene with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Monroe County Coroner's office.Police said the manner of the death is also not being divulged, although police are calling the death a possible homicide.The Monroe County District Attorney's Office is also assisting with the investigation.Police are asking people in the community to report any suspicious activity to authorities.
