A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said Christopher Lee Everitt, 34, of East Stroudsburg, was southbound on SR33 near the Snydersville exit, in Hamilton Township, when he was stopped for speeding, about 8:10 p.m. on Aug. 9.He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest, troopers said. The DUI charge is pending blood test results.
