Emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lehigh and West Broad Street (US209) just after 1 p.m. on Saturday. Police reported that a legal juvenile driver of a SUV, turning into the Our Family Mini Mart, drove into the path of a sedan, driven by Grace Dotterer, traveling west. A young child, strapped in a car seat of the sedan, was unhurt during the incident. Tamaqua Fire Police directed traffic around the scene during the response. No serious injuries were reported.
