A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kyle Gregory Mattern, 40, of Hegins, was found asleep behind the wheel of his Pontiac Sunfire in the middle of SR125, between the villages of Jolliet and Good Springs, in Porter Township, about 3:14 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.He was highly intoxicated, troopers said, and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending.
