State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a home in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County.

According to troopers, unknown criminals obtained entry to a residence, owned by Kristine Elizabeth Fenstermacher, of 4421 Upper Smith Gap Road, sometime between July 24 and Aug. 3. The criminals then took numerous jewelry items valued at approximately $1,000.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
