Two persons have been charged with identity theft and other counts.

Lehighton police said Robert McIntosh, 30, of 80 W. Seventh St., Jim Thorpe, and Charles Shafer, 25, of 324 S. First St., Lehighton, both have been charged with ID theft, unlawful use of a computer, harassment, and criminal conspiracy.The two were charged as a result of hacking into the cell phone of Kelly McIntosh, 321 N. Fourth St. The incident occurred on June 1.
