Three Schuylkill County residents have been charged as a result of an incident in Lehighton.

Borough police said Thomas Dennington, 30, Stephanie Weaver, 28, and Jessica Vogel, 40, all of 407 Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, have been charged with unsworn falsification to authorities.Police said on June 26 they were dispatched to the 100 block of N. First Street for a report of a robbery. All three defendants gave written statements stating the details were factual and true of a robbery.Through an investigation it was determined that all three provided written statements that were knowingly false, police said.
