Dianna Schmick, Lehighton, was one of the recipients of scholarships presented last night for the Allentown-Reading district of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

A graduate of Lehighton Area High School, she plans to attend Kutztown State College.David Gingold, vice president and director of the Northeast Division of the ILGWU, presented the awards, each for $250.Her mother is a member of Local 111, based in Allentown.
