A Lansford driver is facing a driving under the influence (DUI) charge following an incident in Nesquehoning.

On July 13 Officer Timothy Wuttke received a report of a sports utility vehicle all over the road and nearly striking two vehicles head-on along SR54 in the area of the Hauto Estates.Wuttke located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Neil Kennedy. Kennedy was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital, Coaldale, for a blood test, but refused to submit to it, police said.
