Burglary, theft and mischief incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on investigations of a burglary, theft and mischief incidents.

A break-in occurred along Corine Way in Ross Township, Monroe County. An 18-year-old resident reported someone forcibly entered her home and removed various items including jewelry, handbags and electronic equipment. The incident occurred sometime between July 16 at 9:30 p.m. and July 17 at 8:15 a.m.A golf flag was reported stolen from the Hide Away Hills Golf Course in Kresgeville, Polk Township, Monroe County. The flag was taken sometime between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. July 21-22. The flag was removed from the eighth hole.Helene Braren, 58, of Bath, reported someone broke into her residence at 1105 Summer Mountain Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, and removed a self-propelled law mower and a gas can. The theft occurred sometime between 2:30-3:30 p.m. on July 17.Eugene Blaney, 66, of 8803 Lady Marion Drive, Robin Hood Lakes, Polk Township, reported someone removed an American flag from his property. It was taken sometime between July 1-4.Joseph Bernard Bubble, of Lehighton, reported he lost his wallet at the Shell service station located along Interchange Road in Franklin Township, and later learned of fraudulent purchases made with it at an ATM. The incident occurred sometime between July 12 at 3 p.m. and July 13 at 7 p.m.The following criminal mischief incidents were reported.Scott Dietrich, of Harleysville, reported the windshield and passenger windows on his 1987 Ford F100 truck were broken while parked in the area of Acacia Drive in Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, sometime between June 29 and July 13.Stephen Kresge, Saylorsburg, reported someone put several small scratches on the right side of his 1990 Mazda Miata while parked at 359 Ramblewood Drive in Ross Township, Monroe County. The incident occurred sometime between 1 p.m. July 12 and 11:30 a.m. on July 13.Sherry Barker, of Watercrest Avenue, Penn Forest Township, reported her mailbox was damaged overnight on July 17-18.Karen Hallman, 65, of 318 White St., Weissport, Carbon County, reported someone sprayed her antique roses, resulting in the death of the plants. The incident was reported about 10 p.m. on July 13.Kenneth J. Lursen, 51, of 336 Dana Derive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone poked holes in a fish pond liner on his property. The incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. July 22-23.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
