AMETEK administrators were given a recent tour of expansion and improvement work at St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus in Coaldale.

"AMETEK (a local plastics and chemical manufacture company out of Nesquehoning) has made annual gifts to the hospital totaling more than $24,000 since 1992 and more than $12,000 since 2004," said Bill Moyer, President, St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus. "St. Luke's has been able to provide expanded services to our community with the assistance of our many local partners like AMETEK. Planned gifts donated consistently over time really make a difference for our hospital."A check presentation of an undisclosed amount was made during yesterday's tour.According to their website, Westchester Plastics of AMETEK is the nation's leading independent toll compounder of engineering resins, alloys, blends, reactive modifiers and other thermoplastic materials."AMETEK has supported St. Luke's consistently for many years," said Micah Gursky, Director of Development, St. Luke's - Miners Campus.Our employees' families rely on St. Luke's for care, so we are pleased that the AMETEK Foundation's donations have enabled St. Luke's Miners Campus to ensure that quality care is available in our area," said James Visnic, Vice President and General Manager, AMETEK Chemical Products.
