Weissport Police Department recovered a stolen 2008 Toyota Camry that was reported stolen out of Allentown on July 18, 2013.

The car was located at the intersection of Franklin and Forge streets under a bridge.Police Chief Steve Armbruster also reported that Mike Williams and Geanie Solarczyk of Palmerton ambulance donated an emergency medical service bag to police. It contains numerous first aid items to be used by police when responding to medical emergencies in the borough.
