The night skies over Summit Hill were bright last Friday during the first annual Fourth of July Fireworks at the Ginder. The event, organized by borough resident, Kevin Steber and Celebration Fireworks, went off without a hitch and was well supported by families and businesses who donated for the cause. Prior to the fireworks display, the Philip Ginder Stadium, located in the southwest corner of Summit Hill, was filled with families enjoying music by DJ Ron Yurichek of Code Blue Productions, and just having a good ol' fashion evening in the park. Steber plans to make this an annual event and fundraising for the 2014 display has already begun.
